The Omatsuri Japanese Festival returns July 18–19, 2025, bringing two days of unforgettable performances, family fun, and cultural experiences you won’t want to miss.

Hosted by the Calgary Japanese Community Association, Omatsuri is a volunteer-powered celebration of Japanese heritage that features everything from traditional taiko drumming to martial arts demonstrations, cosplay, and authentic eats like takoyaki, bento boxes, and mochi.
